Games courses

The legacy of the Games.

Plaine commune is the area where the legacy of the Paris 2024 Games is most tangible: Athletes’ Village, Olympic aquatic center, Pleyel urban crossing, Louafi Bouguera Olympic bridge, Lucie Bréard and Pierre Larousse footbridges, extension of the Georges Valbon departmental park, redevelopment of the banks of the Saint-Denis canal between Paris, Aubervilliers and Saint-Denis, Grande Nef on the Île des Vannes, redeveloped and modernized sports facilities, and so many other places.

This heritage can be explored on foot, by bike or by bus. You can experience it on your own, with your family or in a group.

Focus on the Athletes' Village

After housing 14,250 athletes and support staff during the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Athletes’ Village is now being transformed into a new district: 2,800 homes will accommodate 6,000 new residents, 6,000 new employees will work there, 2 new schools and 2 new crèches are being built, and 40 works of art have been inaugurated, both in the buildings and in the public space.

Focus on the Canal Saint-Denis

5km long, between Paris and the Seine, the Canal Saint-Denis has been extensively redeveloped in connection with the Paris 2024 Games. A living museum of street art, thanks to Street Art Avenue, a territory of contemporary art with the Victoires trail, it is now also a space dedicated to soft mobility (cycling and walking), facilitating travel as much as cultural strolls.
