The Olympic Aquatic Center

A tangible Olympic legacy!

Welcome to the Saint-Denis Olympic Aquatic Center, the setting for the Paris 2024 Games and, more specifically, the diving, artistic swimming and waterpolo competitions! This futuristic, eco-designed facility, designed for the ultimate challenge, will be open to the public in the summer of 2025.

Awe-inspiring site Designed for excellence

With its huge corrugated wood roof, sleek lines and ultra-modern pools, the Olympic Aquatic Centre is anything but a conventional swimming pool. This architectural jewel was designed to maximize the performance of the athletes while offering a unique spectacle for spectators. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be drawn into the grandiose ambience, where every detail has been designed to combine aesthetics and innovation.

It has even been awarded a Versailles 2024 Prize in the “World’s most beautiful sports facilities” category!

Accessible to all Sporty and curious, there's something for everyone.

A future top-level training center for diving, under the aegis of the French Swimming Federation, and a venue for international competitions. The center will not only welcome the world’s greatest swimmers, but will also be open to the general public from summer 2025. An exceptional legacy of the Games for Saint-Denis and the people of the 93.

Bonus: the center has been designed as a modular, multi-disciplinary space, with a wide range of activities including baby swimming, swimming and aquafitness classes, as well as additional activities: Aqualudic activities, fitness area, padel-tennis, 5-a-side soccer, 3×3 basketball, skate park, catering area, sports recycling centre, etc.

A sustainable project and eco-responsible

It’s not just a sports center, it’s also an ecological model. Designed to limit its carbon footprint, it runs largely on renewable energies and features optimized water consumption.

Its 5,000 m² roof is covered with photovoltaic panels, providing 25% of the building’s electricity needs. Its glazed facades, equipped with external wooden sunshades, guarantee optimum thermal comfort. The outside air is filtered, while 50% of the water used is recovered. Energy supply is 90% from renewable or recovered sources.
