Plaine Commune galleries

Street art, contemporary or outsider: our galleries have character

Plaine Commune creates, exhibits and asserts itself as a land of limitless artistic expression. From Saint-Denis to Saint-Ouen, art galleries reveal the vitality of a teeming scene, between street art, contemporary art and hybrid venues. Here are the spots where art can be experienced without barriers.

#1 60 adada in Saint-Denis

At the crossroads of art and activism, 60 Adada is a collective space where creativity flows in all directions. This former textile factory has become a laboratory for artistic experimentation, where painters, visual artists and photographers exhibit and reinvent codes.

Exhibitions, performances, open workshops: here, art is alive, accessible and in perpetual motion.

#3 Marguerite Charlie in Saint-Denis

Behind its poetic name, Marguerite Charlie is a gallery that showcases contemporary art in all its diversity. Painting, photography, immersive installations: each exhibition is a plunge into a singular universe, often brought to life by promising young artists.

A bright, inspiring space, where artistic encounters are always full of surprises. And to top it all off, it’s also an excellent restaurant!

#4 Le 19M at the gateway to Aubervilliers

Designed by the House of Chanel, the 19M celebrates art and craftsmanship in an ultra-modern building housing workshops of excellence.

Here, embroiderers, plumbers, trimmers and sculptors interact with contemporary artists to create unique exhibitions. A true immersion in bespoke creation and the art of detail.

#5 POUSH in Aubervilliers

It doesn’t get much more avant-garde than POUSH. This unusual venue, housed in a former office building, brings together dozens of artists in residence.

Exhibitions, performances, electric openings: POUSH is a condensed version of the creative underground, where experimentation and freedom are paramount. A must for lovers of uncompromising art.

#7 Saint-Ouen flea market

Much more than an antique market, the Puces de Saint-Ouen is a haven for artists and collectors. From hidden galleries to impressive murals, art is everywhere.

Every weekend, you can hunt for exceptional objects, discover artistic nuggets and lose yourself in a unique blend of styles and eras. A must for the curious and the passionate.
