The Paris 2024 Games have given new impetus to L’Île-Saint-Denis, long on the back burner. In 840, the destruction
of its only bridge to stop the Vikings slowed its development for over a millennium. In 1844, the
and 180 years later, a fourth bridge and a new river eco-district were built thanks to the Games.

Accompanied by one of our guides, you’ll travel up the main arm of the Seine and through the eco-neighborhood that welcomed nearly 14,500 athletes in 2024.
