Le 19M is where luxury craftsmanship meets the public. This exceptional architectural space, designed to break the mould, is home to 11 Maisons d’art, the Maison ERES, a cutting-edge gallery, a café and a cultural garden.
Designed by CHANEL to preserve and pass on exceptional skills, 19M is a showcase for embroidery, featherwork, braiding and finery. With immersive exhibitions highlighting the talents of craftsmen and designers, it’s a place where creativity becomes palpable.
Its multi-disciplinary, free and fun programming combines exhibitions, workshops, conferences and cultural events. An invitation to discover the soul and hand behind the most beautiful haute couture pieces.
Created by architect Paul Chemetov, the Saint-Ouen skating rink was transformed into a cultural urban museum in 2022, after closing in 2020.
Classified as a remarkable heritage site, this atypical space now hosts temporary exhibitions, where art has taken the place of ice. Frescoes, installations and contemporary creations interact with the raw architecture of the building, making the ice rink a unique artistic venue.
A veritable playground for artists and a unique experience for visitors!
The Cherqui Foundation combines art, creativity and conviviality. Founded by Jean Cherqui and now run by his grandson Mathias, an artist himself, it’s a fascinating plunge into optical and kinetic art.
With over 5,000 works to discover, workshops for children, and magical pastries to enjoy in the café, every visit is a unique experience. Family-friendly, warm and inspiring, it’s the perfect spot for an original outing that will appeal to all ages.
Art doesn’t just beautify, it surprises, questions, soothes and invites you to see the city differently. Here at Plaine Commune, every street corner can become an open-air gallery!
For the past eight years, urban art has been invading every corner of the city: construction palisades, parking lots, glass containers, pedestrian tunnels, walls, pylons… all transformed into works of art to be discovered as you stroll along. Whether ephemeral or permanent, these artistic interventions reinvent public space, making it livelier, more creative and more inspiring for all. Keep your eyes peeled, as the city reveals itself in a whole new light!
