In Saint-Denis street art is everywhere

In Saint-Denis, street art is a visual slap in the face, mirroring the struggles and hopes that drive the city. In its vibrant streets, every wall becomes a canvas for local and international artists, mixing styles and powerful messages.

To discover the works, we suggest you take a stroll through the city and look up to see the many frescoes and graffiti that adorn Dionysian walls. With a special mention for the giant frescoes on rue Corbillon, passage Henri Boucher, 6 boulevard Carnot and 12 rue Auguste Gillot.

Saint-Ouen flea market the artists' playground

At the Puces de Saint-Ouen, art permeates between vintage stalls and bustling aisles. Here, graffiti rubs shoulders with treasures from another era, creating a unique blend of urban culture and popular history.

A unique blend of 18th-century furniture and paintings on the walls! We suggest you take a more specific stroll around the Jules Vallés market, rue Paul Bert, take a look at the metal blinds in the various stores and take a trip to the amarrage gallery!

Street Art Avenue 4km of street art

Street art is cool. But 4km of Street Art is even better! From La Villette to the Stade de France via Aubervilliers, along the Canal Saint-Denis, admire over 50 monumental frescoes and hundreds of graffiti. Created in 2016 to coincide with the Euro in France, this avenue celebrates the artistic heritage ofa territory that pioneered the history of graffiti.

Since then, more than 50 frescoes have been created in a variety of styles, by local and international artists alike, but always with the same goal in mind: to bring this unique place to life!

Saint-Ouen and its monumental frescoes

In Saint-Ouen, street art takes on a spectacular dimension, transforming the city into an immense open-air gallery. Here, monumental frescoes impose themselves on facades, transforming the urban landscape into a veritable living museum.

In addition to the Puces, 4 monumental frescoes catch the eye, at 10 Rue Alexandre Bachelet, 90 avenue Michelet, 37 Rue des Rosiers and Stade Joliot Curie!

And one of our favorite spots remains the Porte de Saint-Ouen, which has become yet another good reason to cross the ring road.
